7 years ago today I married my wife in a pretty Haida Gwaii forest glade, with the help of a rubber-booted marriage commissioner & several million starving mosquitoes. Today we celebrate our anniversary confident, perhaps for the first time, that the whole thing wasn’t “a huge mistake,” to quote Gob Bluth (and we both do, whenever we get the chance).
